I got to see this at the machine tool show expo - very cool, years ago we had a stereolithography machine which took our 3D cad drawings and converted them to a cured resin - so we still had to design the parts and this method is no where near as good as this NextMachine. It is so amazing for about 3 grand you can have a 3D scanner, even without the NextMachine 3D printer you can import these files to MasterCam CNC software and create tool paths to machine the part which was scanned.
Cool Story - hey did you know Jay's shop roof is covered with a 54-kilowatt solar panel array... how cool!
